It won't slow down at all or it won't slow down enoughIJ I am assuming you changed from high to low on the cylinder gear box didn't youIJ A couple other things to check, is the hyd valve kicking in and out when you push the buttonIJ Is the varible speed sheave staying where you left it. May need to reseal v-speed sheav_cylinder, or popet may be dirty in the valve alowwing oil back through.. let us know what you find

This is someone normal for cylinder to be doggy to slow down with no load on rotor. Doesn't help if it hasn't been varied for awhile and oil is cool. I would lube up or be sure pins on bottom varible aren't packed with dirt. lube torque senser well and vary up and down a couple time. It surely wouldn't hurt to cycle cylinder speed up and down every day. Also be a good idea to pull torque senser and polish cams or replace. Cams were ground much better later on in the years. It helps to goose throttle while holding slow down button and having gearbox in high. Good luck
