If you are trying to take a dial a matic equipped JD header and make it work with your regular electric header control I think you'll fine you will need to convert your combine to a dial a matic valve on the combine, or simply use the header as is connected to your existing control and not have the dial a matic feature. You will probably need to get a new connector that will match the combine and use the head without dial a matic. It shouldn't be a big deal. I happen to have a DAM equipped 7720, but am using a non DAM equipped head. The header control works fine, I just can't switch to the other two positions and it really hasn't been a problem, at least not big enough to convert my head to use the DAM feature. Good luck.
