Combines DAS don t work

Can you still change the speed manuallyIJ Are you getting a mph speed reading on the combineIJ If both of these are yes then the next thing I would check to see if there is a speed sensor on the reel itself that could be the culprit. Mine did this when a mouse chewed the wire in two on the transmission speed sensor. Made the DAS think the combine was stopped all the time. Good luck.

Yes my reel can be adjusted manually. The wires going to the speed senor on the real look good. Where is the transmission speed senor locatedIJ The MPH still reads also.

If the mph reads then it's probably not your transmission speed sensor, but if my memory serves me right the sensor is located right on top of the transmission. I think it's the only wires you'll notice coming out of the transmission. Could the reel speed sensor be badIJ If it's the same as the other speed sensors (backshaft, cylinder, etc.) you could try swapping one that you know works. I really don't know exactly how the DAS works exactly. My only problems were related to the above mentioned transmission speed sensor and the reel drive pump control (it sticks). Yours isn't the reel drive pump if you can adjust the speed manually. Sorry I can't be more help. bh
