Combines Dealers and Cummins Parts

I had the same trouble and the Cummins outlet didn't even have it in stock so we were waiting a few days. Bought some Goodyear belts to keep in the shop and they were almost half price of the cummins belts. Had to run the fan belt fairly tight otherwise it had to be tightened up on a daily basis. After tightening it up it runs all season without needing adjustment.

The 505 in the R-62 is a tractor engine, the M-11 is a truck engine.Cummins doesn't like to let parts out to Agco for the M-11.Was told the fan belt is special order for Agco.I know Cummins dealers are not happy other machinery dealers sell parts for Cummins.

Fellas as far as Belts go, I dont know if any of you do bussiness with NAPA Parts stores, but they actually have listings for your combine engine belts by model year and engine type.As a matter of fact they ussually havem in stock here in Tennessee, if not they can have them at 6 am the next morning for free. Also have listings for Alternators and water pumps as well as all filters for Cummins applications inMY Gleaners......... Hope this helps someone...A SPEEDY HARVEST TO All

I would have your dealer spend a few minutes and check it out further. I am 99.999% sure I have got any belt I need for a Cummins right off the Gleaner parts shelf with Gleaner P_N right on it. We may have called AGCO for the numbers but they surely got written into book and stocked from that point on. I don't think you'll find to many dealer that don't stock such idems. We also stock things like fuel boost pumps and water pumps for the C series for we can purchase threw AGCO. Once there becomes a demand for l10, M11 engine parts we will have on the shelf also even if we need to buy direct from Cummins dealer. I'm sorry to hear your bad luck and that your dealer hadn't found or stocked the belts yet. Take care.
