We have had this problem following Deere's in the field. Usually the metal parts such as sheet metal fragments, brgs., etc are separated by magnets. The new ones have plastic parts so this shouldn't be a problem. :) Seriously, assuming you are serious, this is a first for me... You got HERDS of DeerIJIJIJIJIJ

It is not unusual to see 8-10 deer (not the green kind)in the field at a time. Each year the problem gets worse. There appears to be as many as one dropping per bushel in the grain bin this year. In the past I have used a rotary grain cleaner with sybean screens to seperate the pellets from the wheat. The wheat comes out the (fines) discharge and the pellets come out where the clean soybeans are normally discharged. It is slow but it works. Tom B

Don't you know that the so called "Raisin Bran" cereals are what they use that wheat for! Yeah, like raisins are dried grapes! Ha!

Had another idea. Why don't you put out , free choice, either EXlAX or AMODIUM AD for the Deere. Either one should solve the poop pellets problems.

Hows about trying a 3_16-1_4 perforated screen in place of the adjustable seiveIJ Should keep the raisins out of tbran's cereal, but don't know what the capacity would be.

I'm surprised that you have any wheat to harvest if you have 8-10 deer in your crop, don't they knock a lot down stompping around in thereIJ

This is a very real problem in southern Pa. The olny real workable solution is to kill the deer before they crap in field. Other wise it becomes a major problem. We have simply left the down grain before because it would be rejected by every buyer. Haybined it and sold it for straw.

Ditto here in West Central New Jersey. There are fields where you can see as many as 20 deer grazing at a time.
