All the hillside CIH machines in the Palouse region of Idaho and Washington are the 8X series. Hillco built the 6X leveler for the hilly areas in the midwest and east. The Hillco will get you a 27% leveler which is more than the Deere SH, if you need more leveling. Go over the the "attachments" under topics and email Hillco. They can tell you the dealers that they have been working with in various parts of the country. Now Hillco also making levelers for Deere 96XX, Gleaner R-72, the rotary Massey and the Cat lexion. Don't know where you are, but there is or was a couple of used 9500 SH combines in Moscow Idaho and they are not a very hot item here.

I live in NE Iowa, nice used 95sh's average about $80 to $90000 and are quite popular here. I have seen 1992-93 models with 3000+ hs on lots for $65- $75000 but I think thats a lot of $ for a machine thats ready for a lot of parts and labor. Our hills here just about max out our 6620sh so 20+ degree leveling is plenty, but all our crops are on a slope so a sidehill works well. I am a mechanic so I wouldent mind rebuilding a 9500sh or 2166sh with 3000+ hrs on it if I could find one in the $40-$50000 range.
