I don't have experience with the 9750, but it has been my observation that you need to do whatever it takes to get a complete thesh the first time the material goes through the rotor. Check the zero on the concave clearance to make sure that it can't make contact with the rotor, then keep tightening the concave clearance and speeding up the rotor speed until you get to the maximum amount of cracking you are willing to accept. If you still aren't getting the white caps threshed, you may need to change some hardware to get the threshing more aggressive.

Do you have any dockage from the sample at the elevatorIJ No need to clean it up if the is no dockage.I ran our 9750 with a 1460 most of the year and our sample was the same in hard to thrash wheat

Your dealer is misinformed if he has you running the three closure plates on the front concave. They should be placed on the middle section. You will set the concave to just 1_2 turn from ticking for zero, put the three closure strips on the center concave section, and the eight plates on the top left separator grates, you will find your samples coming out at less than one tenth of a percent at the mill, even in hard to thresh red wheat. At the John Deere "Harvest link" you will find quite a bit of informatin direct from John Deere on this very subject.
