No the orfice is in the nozzle. You should not notice any change unless you really over do it. When the unit clicks it is just one shot - it does take time to empty the charge; the pressure drops in the little line as it is metered by the nozzel in the intake. Glad you found the problem, most are plugged we have found.

Never opened orfice in elbow and would rather replace. If there is any sign of too much ether getting in then get it replaced. We have wired ground circuit for auto ether into cab so one has to punch button to get ether. Too many temp senders allowing ether at warmer temps. Remember with auto ether to start cranking and keep cranking and hopefully she starts for if you stop and start you'll get another full blast of ether. Also keeps machines running until well warmed up after starting with auto ether for fumes will be un system for quite awile after startup especially with auto ether system. Good luck.
