Hi Kelly My galloping was at speeds a little lower than the speeds you mentioned but I dont recall a specific number. It would also refuse to idle at lower speeds so I could engage the separator without breaking things. Now it will idle down to 350-400 but of course, I dont do that very often. Tom
Hi Sebas. We havent heard from you lately. I hope the year has been a good one for you. There is one problem with having the engine tuned so it will idle at a very low speedI cant hear it from inside the cab. This becomes a minor nuisance when starting the engine without pushing the speed control far enough ahead because the engine speed isnt fast enough to kick out the starter drive and all I can hear is the starter. Then I have to open the cab door to determine whether the engine is running. I suppose I could look at the tach but I dont think of doing it the easy way.
