Not sure what is all involved with the JD one. The loewen one is a simple installation, drill a few holes and bolt in. You can get a complete kit, which covers you for the precleaner, chaffers, chaffer extension and sieves.

I updated my chaffer and sieve adjusters to the dial type from loewen last year. I just wanted to let you know about a couple of problems that I have had. The spring came off of one of the handles and I had to cut the plastic off to reattach it. Sometimes the adjusters stick and you really don't have enough leverage to move them. Finally there is a lot of slack in the adjustment mechanism, and if you are not VERY careful with the holes you drill your adjustment will be different side to side. In my opinion the update probably was not worth the effort. Just my 2 cents.
