For those interested the sheave n is 71366755. It should now be 15% faster. I would ONlY run it in high yielding corn, then switch it back. We did some calculations and the old gal is spittin' out close to 70-80 bu _min with 12 row head in GOOD corn.
Is that the slip clutch pulley and did you need to move idler pulleyIJ Hyper had said once that clean grain speed was going to have to be increased on even the latest machines when bringing these machines to potential. I guess they were right when head is big enough and yeild is great (I'm not surprised). Great work guys.
yes, i had to make a bracket out of 2" channel and welded it next to the existing one and moved the idler up 2" andto the right 2". left the old one there so i could move it back.
