Good luck with the Deere; gotta run what makes you happy, although I always hate to see someone trade into an STS, because they don't often know what they're getting themselves into with this combine. I gotta say I would have taken the 9790 in a heartbeat, but then again it's not my checkbook either, lOl. We'll miss you on the MF board, but I'd recommend finding some operators on the JD board that can give you some actual firsthand feedback on running and servicing the STS. They will save you on avoidable downtime and tell you what that machine can and can't do. Or post here and I'll help if I can with my STS experience. Happy holidays.

It was more than what I would've on a new (03) 9790, but Deere has dealer controlled used programs to "play" with.
