You might want to consider upgrading the differential section of that l2 box to the newer, heavier one. I dont know if there are other upgrades, but the differential sure did according to the mechanic at the local dealership. Tom in MN

Tom do you think they have made a differential upgrade since 99. That's what our 72 is and it is the same differential as an l2 Kurt
