Combines Difference Between an orange and black corn headIJIJ

The early orange heads had flat chains on the gathering chains, later ones had roller chains. The last year [1977] they were made they were low profile like the black heads. The black ones had bevel gears to drive the snapping rolls, the orange ones had chains. The black heads snapping row units could be adjusted to change row width.
