The main differences are that the MF's are axial flow rotors and the Gleaners are crosswise rotors. I would point out that their crosswise rotors allow larger grain tanks that are lower in the machine for better balance, and allows huge room around engine for service, and feeds rotor from the side like a conventional so there is no roping effect in green tough conditions, and accelerator roll shoe precleaning allows excellent shoe performance in varying conditions. Just a few design differences that are definitely significant from my experience. let's keep in mind however that they all are AGCO and I am supportive of both makes, considering I have not had another type rotor machine.
