Dodge 4.7 Liter V8 Engine Problems

Have you had any Dodge 4.7-liter V8 engine problems? I'm considering getting an 11-year-old truck with one. Are they reliable? Durable? Do they withstand the test of time or am I getting something that's probably at the end of its life?

Please reconsider.Unless the cost of repairs + the amount you pay for the truck still = the Kelly Blue Book value, don't buy it. That truck can't be your only option, can it?
