Combines done with harvest

To date, we have not had anyone suffer rotor loss with the new rotor. The units in service range from four reverse bars to none. The most common remark is that the machines seem not to labor into the evening as conditions toughen. Not having two rasp bars side by side over the concave should relieve pressure. Green or tough material eats power there. Thanks a lot for your feedback! I'll likely be back down in Ne before a frost.

I noticed in the evenings with rising humidity that the power requirements didn't seem to change much. Sometimes before we quit we were leaving the heads nearly intact so i knew it was tough, yet we didn't notice the machine pulling down noticably. As for the weeds. That is where I noticed the most difference with fewer pieces in the bin and they seemed to go through fairly easily.

We just ordered one of these rotors for our 72 so it will be interesting to see how it performs in corn. If it does the job we will be getting another one for our other machine.
