Combines double spreader on a R75

I have seen a double spreader on a R 60 before but not sure if it would be the same as now. I think it was a two paddle that was above the main pan and ran in the opposite direction. Not sure how much better it was.

I have a couple machines that came into our area with the dual straw spreaders. They have the belt driven spreader and look good. They would have to help as much or better than the dual spreaders on R60-70s beings they are higher off the ground. Don't know if there is a kit for the R75 that have hydralic drive but imagine it could be adapted. I got a excess kit that tbran had a few years ago and the guy was going to hook up to hydralic drive when he got time. He liked it the way it was with belt drive.

Have R60 with double spreader and R72 with single. With 30 ft flex heads in soybeans the double spreader does a better job. Not sure what value I would place on the differenceIJ Appears to me that the Kirby system from Dutch Industries may be the ultimate. Check out their web site and look for the option where they show how the distribute the straw from the center of the combine. looks neat to me. Brian
