Combines Draper Gauge wheels

I have had the same experience a few years ago with the JD draper. Those castoring wheels arent welded on good enough. Where are you fromIJ

I'm from the state of South Australia. Id acknowledge that our conditions are hard on machinery, but seems that the attachment of the gauge wheels seems to be not up to the standard of the rest of the machine. I'll send you a pic of that particular problem. Ham in Australia

Ham, You must of got an early 2002, my castor wheels on a 2001 model broke of also but when I got my 2002 model they had been streagthened with extra steel, now on an 04 model the piece of hollow rod used for pinning the air bags up broke off allowing the air bag to fully expand, we were using it with them pinned though probably not such a good idea. Do you also have problems with the draper drive motors blowing the front seal and leaking oil, hows the harvest in S.A.IJ
