Combines draper head

I have been asking the same question, with a lot of different answers. A John Deere Dealer that sells MacDons said that they work okay on soybeans on flat ground. I like the looks of the honeybee, which is the same as the New Holland, but the price is $30,000 plus.

The 994 or Honeybee works well in rolling terrain as it follows quite nicely. Used it cutting lentils which a MacDon 960 could not touch, haven't gone against a 972 yet.

Here is a link to Prairielinks, which is Canadian site, but it has links to all the Machine finder and machinery sale sites in North America. A McDonn, Honeybee or Agco draper header should work if you can find one.
