Combines dry beans w 8570

I have done navies with my 8570. There is a speciality beater that replaces the solid beater in front of the rotor. I did not use this beater as I only do about 100A of edibles. The only modifications I made were to use the bean grate on the left side of the rotor. I followed the settings in the owners manual for all other settings. I will increase the seive openings from recomendations. I will also run the rotor about 50 rpm faster that suggested. I found less problems with plugging in straight cutting the navies by doing this. I was very pleased with the sample I got using the settings mentioned. My splits were acceptable and only slightly higher than those using edible bean combines. Any questions please e-mail me and I will try and answer them for you. I see I have a mistake in e-mail address in registration it should be jmcs@qwest.net
