Combines Drying Corn

A couple of things to keep in mind. I have only experienced one year of frosted corn prior to black layer, one it will be very slow to dry in the field and when drying with heat, to preserve grain quality keep a lower heat than normal. We harvested our entire crop that year above 30% moisture. Good luck and patience with the drying. Are you using bin dryer, continous flow or batchIJ

We are using a continous flow system. What temp did you dry you corn 180 to 190. What kind of testweight should I expect as well. Thanks

I was using bin dryers and the temp never exceeded 120. The test weight will be very low, as I remember the best we had that year was 52lbs.
