I had a 1460 at one time and stock horse was 180; had it dynoed and set at 198hp. With loewen concaves and bars this machine ran right with a 1480 in 35 bu wheat picking up 25'windrows. Never had any engine problems with the horsepower boost.

In our area we run 1470 machines and they are pretty much all turned up. The local fuel pump shop said that they commonly turn 1470 pumps up 30%

It's a hillside machine. We are irrigated and level so I'm not real farmiliar with them but alot of the drylanders in Washington seem to use them in the Pulman and Colfax area. I belive they are the same machine as a 1460, but with 1480 HP and most if not all that I've seen are 4WD. I don't know where to look for a picture, but they sure are a good looking machine with their big wheel cutouts in the sidecovers and extra tall stance. Jake
