Combines dual tires on R62

The duals will probably increase the area between the tire and shield by at least 10 inches. Duals will help over 30.5's. However it will take you farther. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it takes you far enough in you can't get it out. We had our 62 with duals and RWA stuck a few times and always managed to get it out with a 4WD and 100,000 lb stretch rope. Tracking down the row is better as the tendency to wander is reduced. The big dis advantage is the transport width. We are 25 miles east of St. louis in a fairly populated area and we have to be careful what time of day we move it.

The duals will help a bunch. We have a 62 with 30.5 rice tires and a 72 with 18.4 x 42 's . We had a MUDDY fall rutted everything out. The duals never got mud on the sheilds the 62 was packed all the time. They don't leave as big of a rut when we where running side by side. The 62 left terrible ruts. This is the first year we run one with duals and I would'nt have a combine without them now a real plus in my opinion. But a real expensive option I think with the ladder extension and you need to have the power ladder and the duals your looking at probably 7000.00 over one with 30.5 's Hope this helps John Ferguson

it all depends on how pretty you want it to be we banded 18.4x38s on our 24.1x32s on our N7 it cost us $350 for bell bands and j bolts and $150 for the neighbor to put them on and build a ladder extension
