Combines E 420 corn head

In 1966, I remember trying out our new E420. It did a decent job of harvesting, but constant trouble is what I recall. The E itself really didn't have drives heavy enough to run it, nor did the head do well in grass or tough conditions. We also had lots of trouble with gathering chains. It wasn't a great experience for us.

Not a bad corn header, just not a great one. It was the same series as the A2, C2, and early F and G used in 20, 30,and 40 inch rows. I ran a C430 on a C2 for years and I got by fine, I have a A420 if you need one
