$1500-2000 and not a penny more. EIII's use AC D17 engines. Great motors. A siezed powerplant though is trouble. Try and make a deal. Our EIII cost $5000 Canadian 8 years ago and we have spent $2000 upgrading it. We took a below average machine and made it excellent.(new belts, chains, wear blocks, window tint) We only have a pickup and do 30 ac. yearly. So the money was well spent . This machine will last forever. Watch the variable speed shaft for the wheel drives. It slides in and out on brass bushings. No grease means no bushings. We learned from our predecessor the hard way. Also, check the rad. If it is plugged, overheating!! There goes the engine. Hope I helped. Good luck!!
