It wouldn't matter how you hooked wires to clutch. Sometime in the middle 70's they went to isolated + and - on clutch so either wire could go to either spot. You likely had a rodent problem if you all of a sudden have multiple problems with tattletales. Pull them down to have a look at wires. I have a feeling problems will be mostly evident. Might need to follow harness down by the cab interior light if them little rodents have set up shop. Good luck

It all happened after the clutch was put back together the same day and there was no alarm going off or all the tattletails blinking. I almost ready to run without the tattletails and cut the wires for the alarm. I would really like to know how to run these down piece by piece to get them all back to normal. Thanks for the response though. gives me a little more confidence in this site and the great minds that frequent it. driftersifter. P.S. I have a parts combine to steal tattle tails from but I don't want to wreck a good one. Dealer is 70 miles away.

I miss understood your original description. Sounded like you finished season and now all them monitiors are on the blink after storage. Clutch wires simply should have nothing at all to do with monitors. Well accept if clutch is sliping so bad that things are not up to speed. I don't think it would of lasted an hour if that was the case. I think what happened is fuze may of blown when clutch wires shorted. I would check to see that fuze for monitors didn't get pulled when checking for clutch fuze. Make sure every fuze is in place and not blown. Buzzer will be sounding if the right fuze is blown or missing. Can't think of any other thing that would affect monitiors when working on a clutch wire problem. See what you find there and I think you will find problem. Good luck

No it happened right after clutch wires were reversed and I did the last acre with all the monitors and the buzzer screamin. I like your Idea of checking all the fuses and I will dothat this weekend. My farm and combine are 50 miles from where I live and work off the farm. I farm 300 acres of soybeans and corn. I sure appreciate your thoughts on this and will report sometime Monday when the boss isn't looking. driftersifter
