Not unless you ran a lot of dirt with down corn through it. Can you check it at night one side with a lightIJ I still doubt even with dirt it would wear thin or through.....stranger things have happened.
I know a guy who destroyed the bottom end of that divider plate in an N6 by running the chain too loose. I suspect the chain wrapped around the bottom sprocket instead of being suspended between the 2 sprockets.
