Combines Engine Fan Hitting Shroud On 03 2388

Same happened on our 2388, 01 model, Fan bearing was out, its a pain to remove, pull fan and housing behind fan, 2 snap rings and press bearing out, cost about $90 from case, doesnt even look like a bad bearing when you get it out, but thats your problem

Order the new heavy duty fan hub with NH part n from Case . It will solve the problem . Don't mind the larger mounting holes in the hub, same bolts do the job.The n is listed in a service bulliten.

Could it be that ther isn't anything major wrong, other that the shroud heating up, expanding and nicking the fan. Maybe you should just grind a little off of the shroud.
