I am downsizing do the the fact that I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 yrs ago at 28 years old and I am tired of all of the stress and headache what comes from the harvest. I love doing it so I am going to run my new 2388, or possibly buy a 8010. As far as the gleaners go they are a friend of mine who I work with, but since then he also has purchased a new 2388. So the plan is for next year to run 2 new 2388s or 8010s but probably 2388s. I sold 2 of my machines to some young guys from Texas and they are going to help us out. I guess I need to update my website after all of the dust settles on this harvest season. As far as the grain karts go I still have a Brent 874 and the other guy has a hillsbros 1000 kart...

I dont have any pics of the trialer as it is still in Nebraska and I havent been able to bring it home. I guess I should have taken pics of it when I left there last week, I cant believe the interest I have had in the trailer so far. I wish I had about 20-30 of them they must be in demand...I will try and get some pics as quick as I can.......... Thanks Shawn Weber

I am sorry to hear of that. My wife was told that she had diabetes 4 yr ago. How did the gleaners run against the case. R72

Well I guess you could say it depends on the day and the crop conditions, I would say you could put more feed to the R-72s then the 2388. I am not sure as a head to head with my afx vs the R-72s. If the gleaner was to do as good of a job in the tank and on the ground then I would say no difference. It seems that the Gleaners needed more attention every morning then the 2388s. I guess it boils down to different strokes for different folks so whatever machine works for the particular person. It sure was interesting some of the friendly battles what occured between the 2 brands of combines, when you are competitive you will defend your combine till the end...lol
