The best one around here is Big Iron in Fargo North Dakota. Its way more than you can see in one day. Its held around the middle of September.

The Ohio Farm Science Review is great. They have alot of field demos including harvesting, notill drilling, and strip till. They also have their own grain facility. Along kinda of a midway they have tents of most all of the major suppliers of equipment and other farm related things. Its put on by OSU. Its located outside of london, Ohio, a few minutes away from the Headqaurters of the nations largest JD dealer. And about 20 minutes from hotels and good eats. I dont remember their website but you can go to search engine and type in Farm Science Review and im sure youll find it right away.

I really like Husker Harvest Days which is real soon, Sept. 11-13. Always have almost every concievable major or short line man. out there. Huge flat area, easy to get to with a real parking area. I usually stay at Kearney but rooms are easily available all around.

I will be going to The Farm Progress Show in lafayette,Indiana one month from now---9_24.Some motels out there are a ripoff.For example the Knights Inn on Rte 26 is asking for $160_night just to stay there.And they claim on their website to be a DISCOUNT HOTEl.WHAT A RIPOFF. We got a rate of about $43_night at the Red Roof Inn in Springfield at the 2000 Farm Progress Show.We spent 1998and99 at Ohio Farm Science Review and had a most enjoyable time that we hope to return to it sometime in the future.Also we believe that RDO Equipment is the largest John Deere dealer here in the states.RDO has JD dealers in several states while JD Equipment has dealers in london,Ashville,Wilmington and Washington Court House,Ohio.But if you ever get a chance go to their store in london.It sits on about 20 Acres.
