Have seen them work in corn on specialty rotor with no straight bars and spiked rasp bars installed in-lieu, especially in high moisture corn with damp or green husks. They are a must have for edible beans and green stem soys.
I installed them a couple of years ago and took out straight bars , put in spikes. Didn't have any corn last year!!!! I can't remember where I need to put my transport vanes and Don Estes is out of buisness!! Any suggestions IJIJIJIJ
