The Massey 8XP and some of the 20 series (Sampo built) combines are distributed in North America by Kincaid Equipment in Haven, Kansas, but primarily for the purposes of seed research. The 5650 was sold for a very short time in Canada, but it was never well received by the dealers or previous Massey owners. The 52" and 62" Claas combines were also painted red and marketed by Massey dealers as Massey combines for a few years.

Also, the Dronningborg Massey combines, sold in Europe, are not sold in North America, but the previous series Danish combines, 34 and 38, are built in Brazil. I wonder if any of their design would be incorporated into the new platform design. I doubt it though since combines will probably have more in common with Gleaner ( parts in common.)

My cousin the Massey dealer told me that the new Massey's are going to be very similar to the White 9720, but with some enhancements (i.e. more power, larger bins and elevators, etc.) If this is true, the machine will end-up looking very similar to the 8780XP.

Thanks! I was really curious about that. Sounds like it will be a nice looking machine.
