I have a related comment about the corner filler part that replaces the crop divider. I got he part from lowen and helical doesn't line up on my R52 either. I ground down the edges of the helical and installed it. Haven't run it yet, ought to work alright. At least better than was, hopefully. Any body else noticed thatIJ R

Nope. He knew the machine he sold us. All I know is that sucker works though, regardless of the helical lining up. From 3 mph tops to overrunning the sickle at 5!!! Wow! Have a good one.

Exactly. Mine is on a 40. All I know is that sucker works, regardless of the helical lining up. From 3 mph tops to overrunning the sickle at 5! Wow! With a 15 ft head though. I think you will like it. The other variable is the crop conditions, but I don't think they are that much different from last year. What was lowen's priceIJ Have a good one.

let try again. You said, Did I stump everyone with my question, or was my topic not interesting enoughIJ I merely suggested perhaps the reason you didnt get responses was the folks on this board didnt know which machine you were talking about.

Have you done any other mods besides the helical extensionIJ It's really good to hear stories with positive results. Are you getting clean samples and what about splits. I know the growing season csn have a lot to do with this, but do you think the mods are helpingIJ

Yes. This is the first modification. To clarify, this kit IS infact intended for the large P3, but the dealer said it is the kit they are putting on the small ones also. Fairly clean sample. lots of green pods in the bin. Just presumed without a return to rotor or bean screen it was the best possible. Maybe should do the chaffer mod.... Not many splits. Yes, I do believe the modification is helping. Seems the rotor is running smoother with less grumble. When there is grumbling it is obviously due to slug feeding from the header.

Oh, confusion on the talk show. I thought you were refering to confusion between the dealer and us. Talk about confusion! But either way I got the info I was looking for. Thanks again to you and the rest on this fine talk show, the machine is beginning to morph. I think you know what I mean by that. Take it easy and have a good harvest.

Not much you can do about green pods except to wait for them to mature. I did chaffer mod last year and really liked the results.
