Shucks, I haven't used CIH, but have installed a hard surfaced lowen incline auger (grain tank fill) in my 1688. Seems to be wearing well and balanced. Priced right too! CW
OK will try this again. Evidentally first post did not go through for whatever reason. We have used poly auger flighting for several years. Have done the entire vertical unloading auger on a 2388 that we recently traded. If it was not so much work would have pulled it and installed on our new machine. Also have installed one or two pitches as needed on the incline auger and cross clean grain auger. Seems like the originals only wear severally on the ends. Also have used poly paddles on replacement elevator chains. All with good luck. Rather expensive but easy to install as the individual flights just bolt on to the old flighting. MaeWest and lundell are tow suppliers and see that Shoup now offers it also.
