I had a 81' F2 diesel and loved it, it was allot heavier built than the 79' gasser I had before. Your F2 has a 4 cylinder turbo charged diesel that has plenty of power, very reliable and is easy on fuel. Check to see if you have the wide space cylinder bars as they will increase the capacity tremendously in corn. Also "hyperize" your chaffer by cutting the first 6-8 rows from the rest of the chaffer and running a separate control rod to them, there is a picture in the hyper mod's page. The monitoring stuff is pretty reliable, I never had much trouble with it. Sounds to me like you bought allot of combine for a little bit of cash if the old girl is in good shape. Have fun!
