Randy, The difference is day and night. I have driven both and the l is quite a bit more. It has 190 bu bin according to the book, but in heavy wheat we have gotten as much as 205 in it. Does your F2 have a hydraulic swing augerIJIJIJ The l will and that is very nice. Is the Corn head orange or Black IJIJIJ Even with that few hours 19,500 seems pretty high for a gear driven machine, but I don't know what machines bring up in your country. Down here you can get a lot of combine for less than 10k... I will say that any combine from the north especially the corn belt are much cleaner and well cared for than a machine from the south. You may be better off waiting for a clean hydro to come along. But on the other hand there aren't that many out there with such low hours.... WW

The cornhead is a 638 6 row 30 inch..Im not sure if that is orange or black.Mine is Black,Ihad a orange 4-30 but did not handle corn in our area very good. You dont see many combines that old with such few hours on them..Ive never driven a hydro so I dont know what Im missing..

Was thinking about getting a corn head for our l3 (We haven't planted much corn here in central Kansas, but are getting a little braver every year). I was wondering what to look for and the differeces between orange and black. Wouldn't want to spend much on one as we dont have very many acres to pick. The combine is a corn_soybean special, but doesn't have variable speed header drive. Did someone take it off or didn't it have to have itIJ Is it necesaryIJ
