I dont have any but I went looking for some several years back, I talked to my local dealer shop manager and he told me not to use them. At the time I was in higher moisture corn and was getting a lot of fines. He told me to increase the cylinder speed and it worked. why do you need the filler plates.

I might not need them, but I was going to give them a try. We've got a lot of different sized ears this year. Seems like the most of the corn I'm losing is on a piece of cob (about 1_4 of an ear) and I was thinking maybe it was getting thrown through the middle. It's really probably doing a pretty good job, just wanted to see if I could get it any better. Thanks for the reply.

On my F2 I run the Trimpe Bars (every other rasp cut out and the remaining bars built up). I use all 5 concave bars, run the cylinder at 3_4" and as slow as it will go with the big pully. Whole cobs come out the back and they are clean. I will break off a few tips but not very many.
