I assume you have no auto heaight controlIJ If not I can't imagine cutting beans w_o one. Almost any salvage yard will have a F,G, pre 82F2, K, K2 with a 'Genie' auto system on it. You will have to have the plumbing or make up hoses, the 4 way header valve, a cable, the feeler bar for a rigid header and clips that hold it on, and of course the 'genie' valve that fastens outside the window along with the flow control valve. You also have to have helper springs on the lift cyls. The system works really well for its day and time. The big item is make sure the header is level. On the floating cutter bar - Hart Carter- it gets a little more complicated as all the linkages are pretty worn by now. They worked well again for the time . Most mfgs in the 70's used HC system.
