Shoot penetrating oil arond the rig and let it work, then with one in the cab and 2 on the end of the auger try to push the auger up,it should come loose, just take your time, and if it starts to move, just keep working back and forth easy.Bought a weathered M-3 and it was stuck, thats how I got it to work.

If the rest of the hydraulics work ok then big orange's answer is on the money. The chain will rust up tight if left outside with no lube oil on it. Once you get it free spray in some penetrating oil with graphite on the balls and chain. Kano labs sells a product called penephite that works good on drive chains as well.

Even if you get it freed up by moving it, you should take it apart and clean it - only takes about half hour. While it is in the horizontal cradle position do the following: 1. Unbolt the end cap housing from the end of the unloading tube, but leave it attached to the auger flighting. 2. Pull the auger and the end cap out of the auger tube housing. 3. Unclip the pull chain at both of its ends from its holdfast at the pivot assembly of the auger. 4. loosen_remove the eight nuts, lock washers using a 3_4" socket_on half inch drive ratchet on the front side of the pivot assembly. 5. Now, pull the auger tube and it's half of the attached pivot assembly away from the grain tank augers half of the pivot assembly. 6. lay the auger tube on a wagon or work bench and clean the ball bearings by spraying them with wd40 while rotating the collar. Keep spraying it until most of the dirt and rust gets worked out. 7. Reassemble it in reverse order. I can usually dis-assemble it by myself, but need extra person to help slide long fighting auger over the square stub drive shaft near the pivot universal joint while I am pushing the auger into the tubing. At the end of fall harvest season, I will do this maintenance and have never had any auger problems. That just gets the dirt and grain out so it doesn't rust tight. It is also a good time to check the universal joint and flightings for wear.
