Combines F2 chaffer problems help

John, Yes, a sidehill blower will really help. When I had my 81 F2 the blower lost a paddle and I thought I would run without it, the trail of grain on the downhill side showed me how much that blower did. It would not hurt to add a third lever but I don't think it will keep the chaffer from plugging. Other things you can do is a side hill raddle, I did not have the sidehill raddle but I did have a couple of pieces of 1" spring steel straps inside my raddle on both sides that kept the material in the center of the raddle. Also, install a 25 tooth sprocket on the thresher beater drive on the lh cylinder stub . Raise the steel curtain over the raddle. MAKE SURE the engine RPM is on high side if not a little higher. Open the top chaffer to 5_8" and turn up the air. Chaffer levelers can also be installed. NOTE: one CAN use the 5_8" end round or square corn chaffer in beans. A few more sticks will be the results in the bin and note if the corn chaffer is opened too wide, spearing and clogging (not the tap dancing type) can occur. The long tooth chaffers have nearly double the capacity.
