Combines F2 corn loss

Check the rubber bushings on the mill hangers. If they are worn out they will not shake the chaffer enough to get the corn down through the screens as fast as it is comming in. Also how wet is the cornIJ This will effect the preformance. Maybe your corn is just yielding more than you are used to and the combine needs to be run slower to handle the additional volume.

YeildIJ Good chance you are on the right track, the clean grain auger and or the elevator may not be keeping up with the load. That would be a good place to investigate. set cylinder at 3_4 for whole cob, cylinder speed at 500-520 fan at 6, chaffer at 5_8 range and sieve at 3_8 to 1_2 and you should be ok. does this machine have a side hill blower, if so you may need to set the baffle down. Also check the clutch on the clean grain auger and make sure it is not slipping on you.

If your corn is 160+bpa and you are using a 4 row head you will not be able to go any faster than 1st gear. If you are using wide space cylinder bars you will have no trouble getting more into the machine than it can handle in the cleaning area.

Well,last year my average was 193 and my F2 W_4-30's did just fine on low side of 2nd.There were some spots that the return got a little "busy" but it didn't put any on the ground.Chaffer mod may be part of it.

Engine speed too slowIJIJIJ Have seen this a bunch of times on diesels that won't quite get all the way open because of a stiff throttle cable. Cleaning fan blades that are dirty on the inside of the bladeIJIJ causes lack of air and hurts sieves_shoe capacity.

I had the same symptoms. Was caused by a hole in the bottom of the hopper. FWIW
