Combines F2 cylinder bar height

The only thing I have found on hard surfaced bars is they develope a 'tit' that sticks out front and can spear and crack corn. I have never seen a set of hard surfaced bars worn out, yours are ok if they still are rough on top - that is the key to extra capacity. We used to pop the top and use a small hand grinder to remove the leading edge sharp points before corn about every other year. About .52 is the height bet I can remember.

Thanks agian Tbran. Mine are about .510 and have a good bead of HS left, so I guess I am good to go. I also have another question. Do you know the original size of the flighting on the bin fill cross augerIJ Does agco sell replacement flighting, or should I just find some generic flightingIJ Maybe put polly shoes on itIJ Thanks
