Combines F2 Hydraulic Problem

This might sound stupid, but check to see if belt driving hyd pump is "fiddle string" tight. If belt works any loose my K2 does just what you describe. If belt is loose, most likely is bad pump. They aren't real pricey. I just put one on my K2 this fall. Under $300. Not bad for 6,000+ hours.

The pump was an AGCO part. As for rebuilding pump, I asked that question, just was not economicly feasable. One more thing, make sure you are usind ATF Dexron Fluid in that hyd system. Regular hyd fluid will totally screw up the works. Been there, done that.
