Combines F2 M2

I think that the Ms and ls that first came out ran the shaker pans faster than the l2s and M2s. It is important to change the rubber drive bushings on the sieves and shaker pans regularly. I shook the pan apart on my l2 after 500 hours. I then started changing the bushings every 250 hours and never had any more trouble. Another area that should be watched closely is the bearings on the main clutch shaft. If the machine is stored inside I'd change them every 5 years or 1000 hours. If you spin a bearing on this shaft it will really hurt the old checkbook :-( Ed

The Deere guys like to compare the 6620 to an M2 or M3 but we found we could walk with a 6620 in our F3. We had the wide-spaced rasp bars in the F3 and that made some difference but an M2_M3 will turn a 6620 green with envy. ;) We also had an M3 and never had any trouble with the shaker pan you mentioned.

I had both an F and an M2 and the F would run with the 6600 JD and the M2 ran off and hid from the 6620's and almost kept up with the 7700's until you got into sidehill work. And for the money difference that they are selling now the M2 is the better bargain, and will take a 6-30 head.
