I think that the Ms and ls that first came out ran the shaker pans faster than the l2s and M2s. It is important to change the rubber drive bushings on the sieves and shaker pans regularly. I shook the pan apart on my l2 after 500 hours. I then started changing the bushings every 250 hours and never had any more trouble. Another area that should be watched closely is the bearings on the main clutch shaft. If the machine is stored inside I'd change them every 5 years or 1000 hours. If you spin a bearing on this shaft it will really hurt the old checkbook :-( Ed
