No, somethings wrong, check to see if you have build up in the pulley bottom of the drive sheave. Slow speed means the pulley is big , this will cause the belt to be tightest. look at another machine is all I can suggest. Belt tension usually does not cause heat. Running at an angle as in idler lean over causes heat. 71306434 is the siclke drive sheave 105520m1 is the flat idler 71306867 is the v and 71315737 is the wobble box sheave if you have a series II HC floating system.
