tbran- I'll try to do better. First thing, no mechanical grinding sounds or anything like that. No obvious oil leaks. The solenoid on the lower left side of the machine was working, ohmed it out and it read 11 ohms, clicked when he threw the switch in the cab. This looks like a fwd_rev solenoid, but not sure. Front drive wheels working properly. Header and all other hydraulics seem ok. Didn't feel any temperature at all on the real hubs. That was about all I can tell you. Thanks for responding.

Doubleclutch, This could be one of many things.Have you checked the easy things first.Check the fuse(Ground Speed).Do you have power at the solenoidIJCheck for magnatism on end of solenoid with pocket screwdriver. If you have power to solenoid it should be magnatized.Plunger and spool in solenoid valve could be sticking.Control drain orfice could be plugged in control valve. Also have seen a bad ground between RWA valve and where it bolts to rear axle.

tbran and HyperII- The Agco guys took another crack at it yesterday, found that there were 2 blown o-rings in the fwd_rev valve body. They put another solenoid coil on also, they thought the old one might have been iffy. Neighbor went for a joyride through the mush this evening and pronounced it fixed. lord willing, the deer won't be eating our corn tomorrow night. Thanks for your help, both of you. This was the first look I got at a newer machine, we own an E that doesn't float.
