Combines F2 straw walker light staying onIJIJIJIJ

There is a paddle switch that is bolted or riveted to the top above the straw walkers. I believe it uses the common micro switch to sense pressure. I had trouble with mine a few years ago and found that a soybean stem had pulled a wire off. Mark

Sounds like a loose_broken wire or trash built up arround the switch. Swing the chopper down and have a look. I had the same problem and found that some soybean stems were built up arround the switch.

You should be able to access the walker sensor on the inspection plate furthest to the back (left side). In my younger years I use to fit between the walker that was up in the back and go in between the chopper and the walker (you can also remove a plate that transfers material from walkers to chopper and get up there) but I agree if it can't be simply solved this way (usually flicking it back and forth will reset or clear out the foreign object and the light will work again. I have reworked our electronic system on the F's and F2. Works good when working! lOl

Found the same thing as the other guys running our F3. Our wire had been patched before. We got to looking at it and had pulled loose in the crimp sleeve but wasn't visible. Got wire back together and working except the piece of ocassional trash holding the paddle open. We had to give it a flick or two on occasion to get the trash out.
