The F2 to M2 is a reasonable jump in capacity. Going from a 4 row machine to a 6 row machine standard. The extra power of the 649I will also impress you. Not too many differences in the M2 to M3, they just beefed up areas that were a little on the weak side. The 3 series were excellent machines and would leave the competition in the dust. The 2 series had alot of updates over the original models and the hydraulic swing out augers. Depending on the way you are buying it, you might want to look into a 1982 or newer N_R 5_6, they can be had for about the same money and the capacity is alot greater.
